How To Unlock Bootloader Of Any Xiaomi Mobile Phone

Unlocking the bootloader of a Xiaomi device can provide more control over the device, allowing users to install custom ROMs, kernels, and recoveries. However, please note that unlocking the bootloader will void the device warranty and can also cause security risks if done incorrectly. Here are the steps to unlock the bootloader of any Xiaomi device:

  • Go to the official Xiaomi website and sign in or create a Mi account if you don't already have one.

  • Go to the "Mi Unlock" section of the website and download the Mi Unlock tool.

  • On your Xiaomi device, go to "Settings" > "About phone" and tap on the "MIUI version" seven times to enable developer options.

  • Go to "Settings" > "Additional settings" > "Developer options" and enable "OEM unlocking" and "USB debugging."

  • Connect your Xiaomi device to your computer via USB cable and launch the Mi Unlock tool.

  • Log in to your Mi account in the Mi Unlock tool and follow the on-screen instructions to enter your Xiaomi device into fastboot mode.

  • Once your device is in fastboot mode, the Mi Unlock tool will verify whether your device is eligible for bootloader unlocking. If your device is eligible, click "Unlock."

  • Wait for the unlocking process to complete. Your Xiaomi device will automatically reboot and the bootloader will be unlocked.

Please note that the unlocking process may take several days as Xiaomi may require additional time for verification. Additionally, unlocking the bootloader will erase all data on your device, so be sure to backup your important files before proceeding.
