How To Set Live wallpaper on Windows 11 And Make Windows 11 Taskbar Transparent

Windows 11 is the latest operating system from Microsoft, released in October 2021. It is the successor to Windows 10 and offers many new features and improvements.

To set a live wallpaper on Windows 11, you can use a third-party app such as Wallpaper Engine. Here are the steps to set a live wallpaper using Wallpaper Engine:

1. Purchase and download Wallpaper Engine from the Steam store. The app costs $3.99.
2. Once you have installed Wallpaper Engine, launch the app.
3. Browse the available live wallpapers by selecting the "Browse" tab in the app.
4. Once you have found a live wallpaper that you like, click on it to preview the wallpaper.
5. If you want to use the wallpaper, click on the "Subscribe" button to download it.
6. After the wallpaper has been downloaded, it will appear in your Wallpaper Engine library.
7. Right-click on the live wallpaper that you want to use and select "Set as Wallpaper" from the context menu.
8. The live wallpaper will now be set as your desktop background.

You can also customize the settings for the live wallpaper by clicking on the "Settings" button next to the wallpaper in your Wallpaper Engine library. From there, you can adjust the animation speed and other settings to your liking.

Note that Wallpaper Engine may have a small impact on your system performance, especially if you are using an older or less powerful computer. If you experience any issues, you can easily disable or uninstall Wallpaper Engine.

To make the Windows 11 taskbar transparent, you can follow these steps:

1. Right-click on the desktop and select "Personalize" from the context menu.
2. In the Personalization settings, select "Colors" from the left-hand menu.
3. Under "Choose your color", select "Dark" or "Custom" as your color scheme.
4. Toggle the "Transparency effects" switch to the "On" position.
5. You can also adjust the level of transparency by dragging the slider under "Transparency effects".
6. Once you have made your changes, close the settings window.

Now, your Windows 11 taskbar will be transparent, allowing you to see through it to the desktop or any open windows behind it. Note that the level of transparency may be affected by the background color or wallpaper you have set on your desktop.

If you prefer to have a solid color for your taskbar, you can turn off transparency effects by toggling the switch to the "Off" position in step 4 above.
