How To Fix Optimizing App 1 of 1 Problem in Android Mobile

The "Optimizing app 1 of 1" message can sometimes appear on Android devices when they are booting up, and it can cause your device to take longer than usual to start up. Here are some possible solutions to fix this problem:

1. Clear the cache partition: This is a temporary storage area on your device where system data is stored. Clearing the cache partition can sometimes help to resolve the "Optimizing app 1 of 1" problem. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Turn off your device.
  • Press and hold the power button and the volume down button simultaneously until the Android logo appears.
  • Use the volume buttons to navigate to "Recovery mode" and press the power button to select it.
  • When you see the Android robot with an exclamation point, press and hold the power button and then press the volume up button.
  • Use the volume buttons to select "Wipe cache partition" and press the power button to confirm.
  • When the cache partition has been wiped, select "Reboot system now" and press the power button to restart your device.

2. Remove the battery: If your Android device has a removable battery, try removing it for a few minutes and then reinserting it. This can sometimes help to reset the device and resolve the problem.

3. Boot into Safe mode: This will start your device with only the basic system functions and no third-party apps. To boot into Safe mode, follow these steps:

  • Press and hold the power button until the power off menu appears.
  • Press and hold the "Power off" option until the "Reboot to Safe mode" option appears and then tap it.
  • Wait for your device to reboot into Safe mode.
  • Once in Safe mode, check if the "Optimizing app 1 of 1" problem still occurs.
  • If the problem does not occur in Safe mode, it may be caused by a third-party app that you have installed. Try uninstalling recently installed apps to see if this resolves the problem.

4. Factory reset: This will erase all data from your device and restore it to its original factory settings. Before performing a factory reset, make sure to back up your important data. To perform a factory reset, follow these steps:

  • Go to your device's settings.
  • Tap "System" > "Reset options" > "Erase all data (factory reset)".
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset process.

Note: Factory reset should be the last option as it will erase all the data on your device.
